Mommy (or Daddy) and Me classes are for parents with babies from four weeks post partum up to 18 months. And even though we refer to "Moms", all of our classes can be taken by Daddies as well. Mommy and Me Yoga is a program designed to bring fitness and balance to new moms through yoga and pilates as they bond with their infants. Moms gain flexibility and serenity through poses and breathwork as well as gaining strength and tone in abdominals, legs and buttocks. Moms will also learn how to relax their overworked necks and shoulders. Age appropriate exercises for your baby stimulate your baby's basic motor skills, vision and coordination. And most importantly, Mommy (or Daddy) and Me classes give a parent and a baby time to bond, time to play and enjoy each other's company in a serene, non-stressful environment.
