Chiropractic

If you are interested in Chiropractic care we recommend

Dr. Chris Chase at Advanced Chiropractic.

Please contact him at 465-5358.

He can offer to correct your spine back to within normal range. He will use a Remodeling Instrument, Structural Rehabilitation with Remodeling tables and Structural Exercises.  We do offer to provide you with a customized Initial Phase of Care written report.  His focus, Structural Chiropractic is a branch of chiropractic that focuses on the correction of the spine back to within normal range.  It's easy to understand the difference.  As you are well aware, there are normal ranges for our bodies... such as body temperature, blood pressure, cholesterol and eyesight just to name a few.  You know that the spine is the inner frame work of the body that supports and protects all the organs of our body. But, I'll bet you may not be aware of the normal range of the spine. Our goal is easy to understand, to correct your spine back to the normal range.  We do this with our Gentle Specific Spinal Corrections using our Correcting Instrument, along with our Structural Rehabilitation using our Remodeling Tables and our Complementary Requirements.  Most of our patients are tired of patching up their problems on Monday only to have them return again on Friday... we offer our services for patients looking for a customized lasting solution

What is acupuncture?

Acupuncture is an effective, holistic health care system developed by the Chinese over 3,000 years ago. It involves the insertion of ultra thin needles into designated points on the body. The acupuncture points are located on a network of energy pathways called meridians. The energy that is carried through these meridians is called “qi” (pronounced “chee”). Sometimes the meridians can become blocked, or the qi is exhausted. When qi is not flowing freely, pain and illness result. Acupuncture works by adjusting the flow of qi to restore balance and health.

Acupuncture treats the whole person. Your practitioner will look at all the signs and symptoms in order to come up with a correct diagnosis. Then she will work to improve the flow of qi, relieve symptoms, and restore wellness. The balance of qi is reflected in each person’s physical, mental and spiritual health. Being healthy means having the vitality, energy and spirit to live life to the fullest.

In Oriental medicine, essence, energy, and spirit are known as the Three Treasures. They are cultivated by living a balanced life, including: proper diet, correct breathing, exercise in moderation, adequate rest, limiting stress and managing the emotions. Oriental medicine seeks to help preserve and enhance the Three Treasures, thus promoting and restoring health.

How it Works:

Acupuncture works by strengthening the body’s own natural healing abilities. It increases circulation and stimulates the immune system to facilitate healing. It also affects the nervous system, causing the release of chemicals that have balancing, calming and pain relieving effects.
