Are you ready to awaken an even deeper level of
well being and comfort in your body?
Have you heard of Ayurveda, but don’t know exactly how to incorporate it into your life?
Counts as 2 classes towards the New Year Yoga Challenge!
If so, this workshop is for you. Ayurveda is considered the medical component of yoga, and thus has much to offer those who are already practicing postures, pranayama, and/or meditation. Through simple lifestyle and dietary adjustments, you will be well on your way to deepening your practice and discovering radiant health.
Sally will share her 5 most essential Ayurvedic practices, in a clear, accesible, inspiring way. Sally uses a unique approach to presenting this 5,000 year old art, as she believes that the ancient practices inherently need to be adapted to our modern culture. No prior knowledge is necessary, and those who have studied Ayurveda are sure to learn something new. The practices that will be shared can be customized to each individual.
Sally is a full time Ayurvedic practitioner and yoga instructor, who lives in New Hope PA. She studied Ayurveda in New Mexico with Dr. Vasant Lad. Sally is also a dedicated student of Parvathi Nanda Nath (Kirin Mishra), and interweaves her lineage of Tantric Yoga and Kashmirian Shaivism into the Ayurvedic teachings.
